The Men’s Ministries is responsible for uniting the men of the Assemblies of God, Ghana in fellowship and Christian service according to the principles and doctrines of the church. The Men’s Ministries is also the organized body of men in the local church who conduct a ministry of teaching and worship and attend to the special needs and interests of men in the church.
The Men’s Ministries have a purpose to unite the men in the church and carry out programs that will advance the progress and growth of the church. Some of the programs and activities of the Men’s Ministries include arranging training seminars for its leaders and members, organizing rallies, retreats, crusades and other activities.
The Men’s Ministries meet at least once in a week in the various local churches and activities and membership of the Men’s Ministries are guided by a written Code of Conduct which is approved by the Church Board. The Men’s Ministries has a National Director who is elected at the General Council Session and he is being supported by the Regional Directors elected at the Regional Council meetings.
The Men’s Ministries also organize and sponsor two (2) main auxiliary groups which include:
- Royal Rangers: A ministry for the training of young boys and girls in the church.
- Pathfinders: A ministry for the grooming and preparation of young men to move into the Men’s Ministries. This group raises monies for the church for missions and promotion of literature for evangelism.
